2 Must-Try Fall Coffee Drink Recipes

2 Must-Try Fall Coffee Drink Recipes

When the leaves start changing color and the clouds roll in we call it fall. But it's not really official until you’ve had that perfect seasonal drink. We can all pretend it’s passe but we know you make that secret pumpkin spice latte run every year so your body knows what season it is. We’ve all been there. You’re better than that -- you’re a home barista! So we’re giving you our two favorite recipes here at the Clive showroom. They’re relatively simple, delicious, and seasonal enough to shield your ears from the siren’s song.

Golden Maple Latte

Our Golden Maple Latte in a notNeutral Vero glass - Lifestyle

Spices are key to a good fall, and there’s no place we enjoy them more than in a nice latte or cappuccino. We chose turmeric and ginger to provide a clear pairing of spice notes and balanced that with some sweet, pure maple syrup. You’re free to use your milk of choice but for us, nothing beats the malty warmth of oat milk. Feel free to serve this cold. With these flavors, it’ll still warm you up.

Ingredients:

  • Oatly
  • Turmeric
  • Ground Ginger
  • Pure Maple Syrup
  • Espresso

Put a tablespoon of maple syrup in the bottom of your cup before you pull your shot into it. Then fill your pitcher with the desired amount of Oatly, throw in a teaspoon of both turmeric and ground ginger, then steam. If you're able to free-pour a maple leaf send a photo or post to Instagram and tag us (@clivecoffee).

Eggnog Cappuccino

An Eggnog Cappuccino topped with nutmeg (pay no mind to the near empty bottle of Pendleton Whiskey) - Lifestyle

This is one of our favorite recipes around the office at Clive. It’s nothing fancy, nothing new, but it never fails to deliver. We fill our pitcher half with eggnog and half with milk which helps keep the sweetness down and improves microfoam. It also helps reduce eggnog’s tendency to screech at 100 decibels. Verve’s Bronson blend makes for an excellent base with its rich fudge and molasses notes. Sprinkle some nutmeg on top if you’re feeling fancy. Add some whiskey if you’re not.

Ingredients:

  • Eggnog
  • Milk
  • Espresso
  • Ground Nutmeg
